After a hugely successful first year Edinburgh Wellbeing Festival returns to Assembly Rooms on 26th and 27th of January for another packed weekend of talks, classes and workshops to help us all lead healthier and happier lives.



Even period venues require modern production – from equipment, technology infrastructure and staff we have the best people and tech in place to ensure events look and sound their best.

Edinburgh Festival Fringe is fast approaching and we at Assembly Rooms are delighted to have Assembly Festival back at our venue for 2018. Assembly Festival is the longest running multi-venue operator at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe running five separate sites including Assembly Rooms. With an excellent programme of shows and performances and with excitement building we spoke to Sharon Burgess, Managing Director of Assembly Festival.

Assembly Rooms Edinburgh officially opened in January 1787 and has since been at the heart of special occasions and celebrations in Scotland’s historic capital city, hosting royalty, celebrities and nobility. Members of the Assembly Rooms team attended ETAG’s annual Conference held in February 2018.

The conference was themed around “Managing Success” and how we ensure that Edinburgh can continue to generate sustained tourism growth in a way that benefits businesses, residents and visitors.



Edinburgh Project SEARCH supports young people with a disability, living in Edinburgh, to gain the skills needed for employment.

Developed at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, Project SEARCH has nearly 400 sites across the world, with the Edinburgh headquarters at the City of Edinburgh Council.

The final line up has been announced for Edinburgh’s first ever wellbeing festival in 2018. The event will bring together some of the biggest names in health and fitness in the capital, from Michelin starred chef Tom Kerridge and Shona Vertue to global influencers Chloe Madeley and Jasmine Hemsley of Hemsley + Hemsley fame.
