Hickory is an award-winning Scottish event and venue caterer based in Musselburgh, East Lothian and one of our approved catering suppliers at Assembly Rooms Edinburgh.

It’s been a rewarding year for the Hickory team, winning Sustainable Business of the Year at the CIS Excellence awards and more recently winning Best Place to Work for Women at the inaugural Business Women Scotland Awards, The Green Award at Scottish Event Awards.

With the festive season upon us, we caught up with Hickory and asked them all about creating the perfect Christmas party.

Visitors to the Assembly Rooms will have the chance to relive the jiving, jitterbugging fifties as the prestigious George Street venue joins other buildings in the city, and throughout Scotland, in opening its doors to the public on Saturday 23 September.

Earlier this month, we hosted an evening of full of glitz and glamour as Heritage Portfolio produced an excellent showcase event. Following the event we were keen to hear more about how a showcase comes together, so we spoke with the Heritage Portfolio team to get some insight.
