Not that I want to speak to soon but the winter weather seems to be on its way out and spring is definitely in the air which means there are lots of great events to look forward to in the coming months. However I wanted to start with a bit of inspiration from Scottish Tourism Week...

Since 1797 the Assembly Rooms have played host to some of Edinburgh and Scotland’s most prestigious events. Britain has a number of fantastic cities that host a range of events but we believe Edinburgh events are simply the best.

We have compiled the top five reasons why Edinburgh and, and of course, Assembly Rooms, should be your next event or conference venue of choice.

As we close in on the end of 2015, I thought I might reflect on conference and events success following the Festival and look at the trends emerging for the New Year.

Link arms and join us as we stomp and skip into the 2016 with our Hogmanay Snow Ball ceilidh.

As it’s the season of festive cheer, we’ve asked our resident expert, J-P, to give you some tips on how to serve the best wine and ensure your guests enjoy the perfect party tipple.

We are all very excited here at the Assembly Rooms today as we are attending the VIBES awards tonight having been nominated for a Sustainability Award.

Kevin Haddow

Every one here at the Assembly Rooms are committed to delivering a sustainable and environmentally friendly service so we thought we woud have a chat to our Facilities Manager Kevin Haddow who has the tough job of implementing many of the changes we have introduced. Here's what he had to say.

Assembly Rooms Edinburgh has ‘gone green’ with a silver award in the Green Tourism Business Scheme for its focus on sustainability.
