The City of Edinburgh Council is looking for your views on design proposals for the future of George Street.
The Council is committed to creating a vision for the future of Edinburgh and as part of this it is planning improvements to the quality and operation of George Street and its adjoining streets in the New Town.
Initial designs have been released which aim to create a vibrant area with a world class street environment that is safe for all users, enhancing its use for pedestrians while prioritising active travel for all.
The draft concept design builds on previous studies for the area, and also input from residents, local community groups, businesses and the wider public leading to design objectives developed last year.
The needs of residents from the city centre and wider city are important for ongoing develop and the Council is encouraging people to take a short online survey to gather views and feedback.
